Product and Market
- A field service management (FSM) platform for small businesses in the US, a Tier-1 market. One app instead of a calendar, a notebook, and separate invoicing: jobs and scheduling, crew assignments, estimates, invoices, and payments — right from the job site, even without an internet connection.
- Three apps in one family: Tofu Field Service — for the business owner (web and iOS), Tofu Team — for the crew (iOS and Android), Invoice Maker by Tofu — a standalone invoicing app.
- On the market since 2017 — 8+ years. We started with Invoice Maker and grew into a full-fledged FSM platform. 4 million businesses use Tofu products. Profitable, with investment raised.
- Rated 4.8 out of 5 “Excellent” on Trustpilot, G2, Capterra, and GetApp. The company is GetPaid Inc., headquartered in Redwood City, California.
- Who we sell to: owners of small service businesses (pools, lawn care, cleaning, landscaping), trades and contractors (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, construction), teams of 1 to 10 workers.
Team and Approach
- 25 people, a distributed, results-oriented team.
- Data-driven decisions: we do only what delivers 80% of the result through the 2% (yes, that is not a typo) most effective actions.
- Fast pace: unconventional solutions, short iterations, deep involvement, and ownership of results.
- A culture of experimentation: “ship it, unship it.” We are not afraid to roll back what didn’t work.
- Direct communication: we say things as they are; short syncs instead of endless meetings.
- A supportive environment where everyone influences the direction of the product and revenue.
Who We Are Looking For
A Senior QA Engineer who:
- looks at quality through the lens of user experience, product value, and real risks;
- takes part in building quality at every stage of development: identifies risks before implementation, helps the team refine requirements, and prevents problems;
- independently shapes the test strategy: determines the required depth of testing, sets priorities, and owns a feature from grooming through post-release analysis.
